The mission of The Compassionate Friends is to assist families in the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child and to provide information to help others be supportive.
We do this by providing a place where we can come together with others to listen and share. The chapter provides someone to talk to — a listener who understands, because all of our members have experienced the death of one or more children and have survived it. Seasoned grievers reach out to the newly bereaved.
TCF is a national non-profit organization. There is no religious affiliation and there are no membership dues or fees.
The vision of The Compassionate Friends is that everyone who needs us will find us and everyone who finds us will be helped.
